Guys, I couldn't find an email address for you on your R!ot page, so I'll just post here.

Nikki,

Here are some free alternatives to buying Microsoft
Office. They all work on Mac and work fine with
Microsoft files. They don't have all the bells and
whistles of the Microsoft product, but they do have
all the standard stuff.

Hey, I'm glad to see that someone has said something already, now I don't have to ;) . I have been using openoffice.org for quite a while now and I like it way better than M$ office, I would highly recommend trying that out! I use it both on Windows and Linux quite a bit and it works on both without a hitch. Another option is a conversion of openoffice into neooffice ( www.neooffice.org ) which is a specifically tailored version for Mac, my mega Mac nerd friend showed me that one. Open Source is the way to go!!! Don't waste your money! (Though they do take donations, kinda like you... lol)

Oh and the second reason I'm posting instead of emailing is to tell anonymous that their email address is riot (at) radiou.com

Hope this helps, God Bless

I personally ponied up and got the 2004 Office student version when I got my new mac but that was before I was aware of opensource. This page has lots of great programs for all kinds of stuff. You should check it out http://www.opensourcemac.org/
