The Much Discussed PB and Chocolate Pop Tart

Several weeks ago we had a RIOT discussion that involved strange things that you have seen people have for breakfast. At least, I think that is what it was about. It might have been about ways to jazz up your pop-tarts. Regardless of the initial source, one thing emerged from many people's breakfast tables: the chocolate pop tart converted into a peanut butter sandwich. Now, I'm a HUGE fan of PB and Chocolate so it sounded like a match made in heaven to me and I've been meaning to do it but never quite gotten around to it. Until now.

Behold! Obadiah at 6am:

The Ingredients:

The Mechanism:

The Result:

The First Couple of Bites:

Ummm... well... it wasn't that great. I don't know if it was too early in the morning, too much peanut butter, or it just wasn't for me... but the end result was a bit lackluster. The peanut butter flavor VASTLY overpowered the chocolate and no matter how small the bit it was all a bit too much. I ate it at 6:20 but by the time Battle of the Buzz rolled around at 7:15 I was starting to fire up the flux capacitor for a trip back to keep me from eating it. I think I'm going to have to switch back to S'mores pop-tarts or oatmeal.

Nikki's Rebuttal:

Nikki had a cheeseburger. Don't judge her for her early morning cheeseburger, either. Until you've walked 3 hours in our shoes you are not fit to throw burgers!!!

I was so hoping you were going to say this was wonderful. Darn.

The reason it came up originally, Obi, is you had recently discovered the beauty of the heated pop-tart vs. the cold one. Something about how the s'more one tasted more s'more-y once heated. ...that's right, my brain is a trap for useless trivia.
