Human Trafficking. It sounds like some kind of a commuter joke, but it isn't a joke at all. It's big business... and isn't that odd? To think that in this so-called "modern" era where we're all so civilized people are still into slavery. Sickening.
But what can you do about it?
Good question. Aside from not directly participating (duh) you can help organizations like Gracehaven. They are hosting an event in Columbus, OH this weekend called Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. There will be lots of information and ways to get involved. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is a nationwide organization that you can get involved with no matter where you live. Look here for information.

This is a war our country should be fighting. It's happening in our own country, and across our own borders. It's sadly going on without much notice. The movie, Taken, brought some much needed attention to the matter.
